Mission Statement

Osler was founded with one ambition: to help every practicing clinician provide the best possible care they can.

Striving for excellence is not without its challenges. For a busy clinician, be they an experienced nurse, a medical student, an intensive care paramedic or a community physiotherapist, finding the time to dedicate to self improvement is tough.

So knowing where to best invest your time makes all the difference. Osler helps its members to best understand their performance and preparation, by aggregating activity, learning and feedback data in one easy place.

Through a range of intelligent tools, Osler can then help clinicians develop their own performance development plan, mapping a path to excellence in practice.

Osler believes self-reflective, data-driven practice will have a similar impact to Sir William Osler's 19th century campaign to move medical training out of the classrooms and to the bedside.

“He who studies without books sails an uncharted sea, but he who studies without patients does not go to sea at all.”
